Eric Merchie (Myung Soo)

Myung Soo was born in Korea, and adopted, at the age of 5, by a family in Belgium. He discovered the faith in Jesus-Christ when he was 17, and decided to come in Romania in 1992. In 1997 Myung Soo officially pioneered YFC in Romania. He has remained involved in YFC even since.
JP and Ely Longeron
National Director (Targu Mures)
JP (Jean-Philippe) is french and Ely (Elisabeta) is romanian. They have 2 sons (Nathan and Elias). They serve Youth For Christ Romania since 2017.
JP is also involved with YFC in France and Belgium. Their passion ? Inspire, train and release romanian youth workers to share the gospel in Romania.
Stefan & Emilia Grancea
Local evangelists and youth leaders (Brasov)
Stefan and Emilia are the parents of Matei, Seth and Abigael. They are called by God to work with kids and teens at risk (in a poor area where kids are not much loved and educated).
Their personal testimony and encounter with God help them understand the pain that some of these teens go through, and they are committed to do whatever it takes to share the Gospel to these kids.
Sorin & Mihaela Mihalache
Leader of Youth Music Fest, and local evangelist (Ploiesti)
Sorin and Mihaela have a daughter : Miriam.
They started, in 2010, Youth Music Fest which is attracting more and more young people.
They are also serving in their church (worship, preaching …), are leading different evangelistic programs for kids and teens and are leading a music week once a month involving christians from our church and non-believers.
Luca & Romina Pais
Local evangelists and youth leaders (Arad)
Luca and Romina have two girls : Natalie and Abby. They helped YFC for years as volunteers and are very much involved in their church leading cell groups, and being involved in mission and evangelism.
In 2017, Luca decided to join YFC as part-time missionaries.
Zoli and Csilla Schuller
Youth leaders (Targu Mures)
Zoltán and Csilla Schuller have three children (Abigél, Dániel, Naomi).
Zoli was raised in a non-Christian family. God called him while I was in the army through a believer fellow soldier. After receiving Christ in his life, he quickly served as a youth leader and met his future wife, Csilla.
There, his passion to share Christ to unbelievers grew.
Zoli is currently serving as volunteer among the youth in Marosszentgyorgy, in the youth group at Philothea club and he is developping different YFC activitities. In the summer they serve God in camps with children and youth.
